Orion Consulting Associates BV (OCA) is a Dutch registered consultancy firm specialised in transport infrastructure development and community access.

OCA has expertise in (transport) infrastructure planning, construction and maintenance of rural roads and community access, using Labour Based Technology. Our expertise also includes transport and access related institutional development, governance and decentralisation, economic, social and environmental analyses. We further provide consultancy services in rural water supply and irrigation, poverty alleviation and sustainable livelihood development.

OCA is a group of like-minded professionals who strongly believe that infrastructure and public service delivery should be planned, designed, implemented and sustained to the maximum benefit of its target group. OCA operates as an association of independent consultants. The associated consultants all have considerable expertise and experience in the area of international development, in particular in relation to transport infrastructure and accessibility to basic socio-economic needs and its impact on poverty.

Our associates are reputable and multilingual professionals with backgrounds in civil and agricultural engineering, economic and social science and management. All have broad international experience gained in various assignments in Africa, Asia, Pacific and the America's.
