 Fergus Gleeson (B.Eng, M.Eng, C.Eng) Fergus is specialised in appropriate technology applications in road construction and maintenance -including alternative pavement techniques-, employment-intensive rural infrastructure and community-based development projects. Over the last 10 years, Fergus has gained professional development experience working in technically complex and logistically challenging environments, as engineering adviser and as team leader. From January 2009 until March 2011, Fergus had been engaged as team leader for the Vanuatu Transport Sector Support Program, managed by the association of OCA and URS. Before this Fergus worked in large and challenging projects and programmes in Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan. From mid 2011, Fergus is mainly engaged in shorter term assignments.
