Tjitske Leemans (MSc)
Tjitske Leemans is an experienced environmental engineer, specialised in project management, program coordination and capacity development. She started her career 13 years ago in the Netherlands as a project team leader in spatial planning and as a senior expert in surface water management.
Mrs. Leemans has worked in Mozambique as management adviser and coordinator for a technical assistance program for local drinking water utilities. She managed to create a team with Mozambican and Dutch water experts in order to exchange knowledge, define standard operating procedures and improve business planning. She is familiar with all aspects of planning, monitoring and reporting of budget and activities.
In her current position, in the (former) Netherlands Antilles, Mrs. Leemans supports housing foundations and public utilities and service providers, improving and making Customer Service and Public Relations more effective. The aim is to meet with beneficiaries’ needs on the development and execution of related customer relations management plans, customer service training, customer satisfaction surveys and PR Campaigns.
Mrs. Leemans combines a solid technical background with great interest in institutional development and financial management and related capacity building. Tjitske is a passionate development professional with a people and process driven approach.
