Geoffrey Kasigadde Kibisi is a focused and energetic Engineer with extensive broad based experience in rural road construction management, road construction and maintenance, supervision and consultancy (scoping, scheduling, tendering, contracting, quality and quantity control, progress reporting and certification of works).
Geoffrey holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering for International Development from Glamorgan University. For the last fourteen years, he has worked in West and East Africa, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. He has gained balanced exposure in working for and with Government' Works Departments in various countries, with private sector consultancy firms and with construction companies (contractors).
Geoffrey is experienced in capacity assessment, design and delivery of (tailored) training of private sector (emerging) contractors, consultants and works departments in labour based and equipment based rural road maintenance, supervision of works and contract administration. Geoffrey is well equipped to guide and support the process of change in Works Departments, transitioning from force account to outsourcing and managing.
Geoffrey is and associate of OCA and has worked with the company in Vanuatu and Nigeria. Geoffrey is a passionate people centered development engineer, committed to sustainable infrastructure development.
